Japan's Daxie will introduce the GENOS series of machine tools to the market. The series will only set basic functions while following the characteristics of the company's best-selling models, thus reducing the price. As the first product, the company developed the vertical machining center GENOS M460-VE with a disk size of 1000×460mm and a spindle taper of 40. The stand-alone price is about 2/3 of the existing equivalent model, only 10 million yen (excluding tax).
The company's best-selling MB-V series is a "high-end product" (the company) equipped with the company's "Thermo Friendly Concept" and "Processing Navigation" functions. The concept of thermal affinity means to reduce the heat generated by the machine tool as much as possible, and for the unavoidable heat, the effect of heat is eliminated by means of prediction and compensation. Machining navigation means that the machining center can automatically find and control the optimal machining conditions, or provide advice to the operator via the NC unit.
In addition to these high-end features, the new series also features a highly rigid diagonal rib structure. In order to reduce the price of this series, without using a high-speed rotating spindle, the number of tools stored in the ATC (automatic tool changer) is limited to 20 (optional 32), "almost covers all the functions that users demand more."
